FAQ'S
1) What happens if I rent a Wave Runner and it rains on my scheduled day?
answer: At Jet Ski The Lakefront we always wish for our customers to have an enjoyable rental. If the weather is bad on your scheduled day, then we gladly issue a rain check for another day. If you are already on the lake when bad weather surfaces, then immediately return to shore and notify us. We will issue a rain check for whatever unused portion of the day is left. Your time will be credited from the point that you notify us of the weather condition. You may choose a future date based on availability.
2) What if I just want to
cancel my reservation?
answer: Due to the nature
of the wave runner rental business, once you
make a reservation you
will have to give us at least a 14 day notice to cancel.
If canceled within the time limit, we will refund your money
less a $25.00 service fee per craft.
3) How fast are the WaveRunners?
answer: The Yamaha Wave Runners we
rent are capable of reaching speeds close to 60 mph. However,
the weight of the riders on the machine may affect the top speed
performance
4) How many people can ride
on a Yamaha VX Cruiser Wave Runner?
answer: Each Wave Runner is
sized for three people, or 528 pounds maximum. But two adults or
one adult with up to two children is recommended. 3
adults make it unstable. Do you want to ride it or spend all of
your time swimming back to it?
5) Do you have to mix oil
with the gas?
answer: No, each of our
Wave Runners feature an oil injected system. This system contains
a separate tank for oil, A which will be delivered to you full,
at no charge. You will only need to pump regular gasoline in the
fuel tank.
6) How long will a tank of
fuel last on a Wave Runner?
answer: Fuel consumption is
directly proportional to the weight on the machine, the water
condition, and your riding style. On the average, a full tank of
fuel should last close to two hours, however it could be more or
less depending on how you ride. You
are responsible for the cost of fuel.
7) What is the difference between a Jet Ski, Wave Runner, and SeaDoo?
answer: Each are types of PWC's or Personal Watercrafts. JetSki is the trademarked name for Kawasaki's line of PWC's. Wave Runner is the trademarked name for Yamaha's line of PWC's. SeaDoo is the trademarked name for Bombardier's line of PWC's. Some people commonly think of "Jet Skis" as the stand up type of PWC, and the WaveRunner as the sit down type. This is not true. There are stand up jet Skis, and Seated Jet Skis. The same is true for the WaveRunners, etc. Most manufacturers offer a line of two-seater, three-seater, and stand up models.
8) You commonly refer to Jet Skis / WaveRunners / Personal water craft throughout your site. Do you offer all brands?
answer: No, we only offer the 3-seater Yamaha VX Cruiser WaveRunners. We commonly refer to all brands throughout our site to avoid a misunderstanding, since some people may not understand the differences between each make of PWC.
